From time to time, we receive questions about specific items related to your stay with us. The answers to our most frequently-asked questions can be found right here. If you have more questions beyond what we cover here and on our Rules page, please don't hesitate to reach out to our friendly staff!
“What is the campground speed limit?”
Please obey the 5MPH speed limit at ALL times in the campground. Children are at play and having fun, so please drive slow to keep them safe.
“Can we have friends and family visit us at the campground?”
Of course! All visitors must register in the office before entering the campground. The day visitor/guest fee of $10 per adult (21+) and $5 per child ages 5-20 shall be paid before entering the campground. Every vehicle must have a camper or visitor pass hanging from the rear-view mirror before going into the campground. Day Passes expire and guests are to leave the campground by 9pm. Please advise guests of the no motorcycle policy. All motorcycles must be kept at the entrance. Only two vehicles are allowed per site so guests may have to park in an overflow area.
“What time is check-in and check-out?”
Campsite: Check-In: 4:00 PM, Check-Out: 2:00 PM--If your campsite is available, enjoy the day with an early check-in from 9am-12pm for $20 or 12pm-3pm for $10.
Stay and Play with a late check-out (up until 6pm) for $10 if your campsite is available.
Cabins: Check-In: 4:00 PM, Check-Out: 12:00 Noon--We do not offer an early check-in or late check-out for cabin rentals.
“Do you allow pets?”
Yes! Pets are family too and we have 2 bark parks to help ensure your best friend has a great time while camping with us. Pets must be kept on a 6' leash, should not be left unattended and should be cleaned up after at all times in all areas of the campground. Pets are not allowed in rental units or any buildings/structures. All dogs must be registered to your site upon arrival. Excessive barking is not allowed. Please be sure to read dog/bark park rules at check-in. Failure to follow dog rules may result in a fee.
“Can we bring firewood from home?”
We do not allow people to bring their own firewood. Please Buy it where you burn it. Please purchase our bug-free USDA certified heat-treated kiln dried firewood at the campground. To help prevent the spread of gypsy moth, emerald ash borer and oak wilt, USDA, and WDATC Certified firewood families sold here at a minimal markup to cover our costs. Gathering of firewood or cutting of trees or branches and shrubbery is prohibited.
